Launch Day/Daily Life in Space


It took three weeks to build our part of Freedom. I am going to the space centre to get ready to go to space. I am there now we first will take a look at the space shuttle. It is as big as a bus, as white as snow and as shiny as a button it looks really, really exiting.



We need to put on our space suits now and it looks like it mite take a while. We have to enter the space shuttle now. So I will say goodbye to my family. I will be gone for four days. We are in now take off is in three minutes. We are taking off now 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 BLAST OFF!!!!!!! This is so awesome the shuttle is going so extremely fast!



ONE DAY LATER



We will be at Freedom in half an hour. I am so exited I am actually in space. We have docked now we will carry it out and attache it. We are now attaching our part of Freedom. It will take the rest of today and some of tomorrow. It is really hard to work with no gravity but we need to attach the part of Freedom.

We are done for today after three hours so we will stay in the part of the station that is already ready to stay in. We will have dinner now, we have to strap the plate to the table but the food is the same as on earth. Yum that was a good dinner. Now I need to go to bed so I am not tired tomorrow.

DAY THREE

I am up now I have to put on my space suit and then we will start working again. I am going out now I think it is really fun just floating. We will work for two hours then we will head back to earth.

It has been two hours I am really sad because I think it is very fun in space but all good times have to come to an end take off is in half an hour.
